And for the last time....more poems

Sound of Time

The sound of time,
As sweet as lime
One that drops
And doesn’t stop

Nice like ice
A game of dice
The bells that ring,
And more than sing

The candle’s wink
Tick – it sinks
So soft and slow
Like a flood’s flow.

So fast and real
Like cold hard steel,
Boiling hot,
Yet ever, not

Fast but last
Slow, no more
Forevermore,

Tick

Tick

Tick

Dead as a brick.

What lays ahead me

What lays ahead me,
Is yet to be known,
What lays ahead me,
Shall come in due time,
What lays ahead me,
Will soon be behind me.

Isn't that last one really deep? Heh (Actually, both of them :)
